According to the 26 June 2020 notification released by the government the upcoming and existing enterprises are required to be registered under the Udyam registration portal. The micro, small, and medium enterprises that were previously registered under UAM or EM I and II had to redeem their registration 1st July 2020 onwards. The enterprises that were registered before 30th June 2020 should be reassessed as per the government’s new definition of MSME and the enterprises that have registered under UAM after 30th June will be valid till 31 June 2020.
