Udyam registration is the latest definition under MSME for the Udyog Aadhaar Registration. On 1 July 2020, the Government of India launched the Udyam Registration with the aim of simplifying Udyog Aadhaar's complicated registration process and empowering the ease of doing business, and save the entrepreneur from a tough registration system. The term "Udyam" means the organization itself, formerly known as Udyog Aadhaar Registration, and the registration process will now become Udyam Registration.
MSME's union ministry has now unveiled the new online web portal service for Udyam registration. The registration process would be based solely on self-declaration, and no evidence of registration or paperwork of any type is required under this process. Under this portal, a company may be listed clearly based on the Aadhaar number. Under this process, no documentation of any sort is needed. You must complete the Udyam registration form on this portal and you can print the Udyam registration certificate online after submitting the form.
According to the notification circulated by the Union Ministry of Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) on 1 June 2020, MSME Enterprises will now be named 'Udyam.' The new online registration process for Udyam will now become smoother and faster. It creates huge opportunities and lets them meet their targets for micro, small and medium-sized companies.
